Using PR to spread the word about Vivid Sydney

Griffiths Consulting, a PR and Social Media agency in Munich, has been entrusted with the German media relations for Vivid Sydney – a festival of light and creativity taking place from May 27th until June 13th. (http://vividsydney.com)

Giant light sculptures, erupting fire installations, floating jellyfish, exclusive international music performances and the stunning illumination of the iconic Sydney Opera House sails – this is Vivid Sydney. The annual festival of creativity takes place for the third time in 2011. It has been developed by Events New South Wales on behalf of the government of the Australian state New South Wales.

The festival organisers are keen to raise the event’s international profile, and have commissioned PR support in seven countries this year through Australian-based Avviso PR – a member of the IPR Team, a global network of  independent public relations consultancies covering more than 22 countries. Griffiths Consulting is the exclusive German member of the IPR Team.
